Lustau, East India Solera, Sherry, Spain.
This is something I have wanted to try for some time. This is another great Lustau Sherry and proves why I love Sherry, especially when it's made by Lustau! It smells so warm and inviting. The nose is full of juicy raisins and Christmas pudding aromas like the Old Oloroso but this Sherry has more depth and complexity to it. The palate is warm but also ever so slightly salty; it has elements reminiscent of a Manzanilla. The sweet and saltiness are integrated seamlessly. Your first taste is the sweetness which leaves behind a slight hint of salt. So complex and rich with so many different flavours coming forward. 4.7/5 (20% abv) Widely Available.
